it’s back again! Heterosexual Son Prank DJ Call
happy easter everyone!
as i lay my eyes to sleep, the alcohol shifted its potency from a world full of thumping beats to a dark and peaceful evening. the night lights of suburbia stared at me into oblivion as my heartbeat finally laid out its last conscious resonance…
got back home, superseded my drunken stupor through two flights of stairs, and laid my clothes near the jacuzzi tub. i was half-naked with boxers on when i realized that it was still freezing in the bathroom with the heater on. we had freakin’ flurries at this time of spring. several sundays ago, i was briefly watching the oscars while a blizzard hit the east coast. i could only see warm sun in hollywood… i swear i’m moving back west in a year or so.
still tipsy during the wee hours of the morning, and we were lounging with good folks at a bar/lounge in georgetown. i don’t know what it was that i said, but after a couple shots, i just started talking a homegirl into having her move out west just to see if she’ll like it. one homee moved out last year and i guess he didn’t turn back. once you go west, you’ll know what everybody says (i know, bad rhyme)… hey, everybody has his or her own preference. not sure if girls deliberately rub themselves against guys while dancing with their girl friends just for tease.
went to a freshgo store to get cashback. you’d think that you have several bank accounts but the only bank out in the shopping area is not even one of yours. i bought a sweetened drink, got cash, and drove straight to the freeway ramp heading to dc. that instead of driving another half mile to a nearby bank. yes, i was already feeling lethargic at 10pm since my partied-out phase suddenly shifted into its alter-ego. a loungy-just-here-to-hang-out-and-not-to-hook-up hybrid this time.
i’ve lived in the bay area for a while and it’s funny to say that i’ve never been to the alcatraz. i may have been to other famed landmarks; but once we live at a certain area, we tend to overlook places that most tourists would die for just to visit. one thing i like about the metro dc is you see drug busts and undercover chases like they were in a movie. i was sitting on a busy intersection at 7pm and saw 5 explorers blocking one car. people in kevlar vests got out of the car and pointed their guns at the surrounded sentra while the hidden police lights started flashing from inside their suv’s. green light: everybody just drove away, looking over, then avoided the blocked lanes to get to their destination. you certainly don’t know who’s your undercover brutha/sistah and who’s not.
past 6pm at the gym and i had to leave the gym by 7 to do something. so i did my usual intermittent sprint and runs for thirty minutes after hitting the weights.
had lunch at the indian place. i’m not sure when i started liking indian food. one of my best friends is indian so his mom always cooked good food when i visited them in san bruno. maybe it was during those frequent visits in uc davis that a friend and i would always hit this indian bistro on a sunday morning.
friday night lights. the usual. i may be the last one to know about this, but instead of typing “www.xanga.com” or “xanga.com,” just type “xanga” then hit ctrl+enter and the browser will automatically direct you to the page. and it goes for all websites on explorer. just a little tidbit.
i woke up at 6am to start the day right. and i know it’s gonna be a lovely day…
