sunny today. just did the laundry last night, and found some time to finish a book’s chapter. while the imf-wb conference has been barring traffic in the southwest district, one of the highest taxed state still lingers with the expos’ homecoming. that is, after 33 years of long wait since the senators left. hard work pays off in the future, laziness pays off now.
coming from an area of 2 major league and nfl teams respectively, welcoming the team from montreal seems to be a very exhilarating moment for a metro area like dc. and they say change is inevitable, except from vending machines. officials, i think, have commenced with the $440 mil ballpark project. almost half a billion, you say. no tax money, they say. so always try to be modest, and be proud of it. nevertheless, i’ve had great times being with other sports fans in a huge stadium. let them do they thang. and support bacteria; they’re the only culture some people have.
second amendment: the right to bear arms. despite public protests, the house of reps is trying to repeal dc gun restrictions. they’ve never really been out in the streets by themselves; to the other side where remains of last night’s fired bullet shells scatter around a gasoline alley. if everything seems to be going well anyway, we have obviously overlooked something. so much for wasp talk. haven’t laid out all the details in this argument. well, a clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.
i’m feeling a bit light-headed for some reason. felt like i’m diagonally parked in a paralled universe. just ate a hearty breakfast, had a good night’s sleep, didn’t do the morning exercise; tris, delts and pecs still sore… what else was there to eliminate? i should plan to be more spontaneous tomorrow then.
