it’s not even christmas and i’m playing ‘chestnuts roasting on an open fire’ by nat king cole.  i did remember singing this timeless song to an ex during our cold university walks by winter.

i was just ready to get everything ready for errands when one of my good friends called me.  she decided to move out of her man’s house and asked if she could stay over.  i guess i did not have a choice but help her.  good thing i was almost done running along college when she just got off the bay bridge to ask for directions.  i guess i had to put off some of my errands to help her find a place.  as of now she got a hold of 2 good prospects in the peninsula.  we had to go back to sf later so she could see the other place.  maybe i shouldn’t have gone back to berkeley.  but i figured i’d do school stuff first so i could get everything else straightened out.

she’s sleeping soundly on my bed.  poor thing.  i respect her as a good friend only and i just wanted to help out.  nothing more and nothing less.  good thing one former roommate left his bed so i combined 2 twin beds to a big one.  tonight was supposedly chill timeout for me but i guess i sacrificed everything this entire friday so i had to study.  i hope she gets a place soon.

yeah, she just got a place in one day; moving in tomorrow.  the fastest that i knew was in 1 weekend.  i takes me weeks or even months to look for the right places sometimes.
